A joint statement issued at the end of these talks, which took place on the occasion of the working visit of the Egyptian FM to Morocco on May 9 and 10, stressed that the two sides also agreed to hold the Joint Committee on Consular and Social Affairs to discuss all issues of interest to the communities of the two countries and to study the establishment of a forum of intellectuals, thinkers, media professionals and artists to strengthen cooperation and promote the exchange of experiences and expertise in the cultural field.

According to the same source, it was also stressed that the economic and investment dimension is a fundamental pillar in the relations between the two countries, given the ability of both States to establish a relationship of cooperation and complementarity in many areas, the unique strategic positioning of the two countries, their great economic potential and their excellent human skills.

The two ministers expressed their willingness to continue to work for the development of economic cooperation relations, increase mutual investments, exploit the advantages offered by the attractive investment climate in both countries, increase trade, and strengthen partnerships and exchange of experiences in various fields.

In this regard, the joint statement said the two parties called on the Council of Businessmen to take advantage of the excellent political relations between the two countries, as well as the rich and diverse legal framework uniting them to strengthen cooperation both economically and in terms of investment, able to support the efforts of both States to achieve development and prosperity.

The two ministers also agreed to move forward in activating the various frameworks of cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Arab Republic of Egypt, in view of the holding of the Moroccan-Egyptian High Joint Commission, chaired by the Heads of State of both countries.
