Minister Zerbo verbally reassures the Burkinabè of NIamey: ‘There are already many populations who have been able to return to their villages’

Ouagadougou: The Minister of Digital Transition, Posts and Electronic Communications, Aminata Zerbo/Sabane reassured Burkinabè living in the Nigerien capital of the notable progress recorded in the fight against terrorism, yesterday Saturday before the end of Niger National Digital Week.

‘Our fighting forces are hard at work and they give us hope, because there are already many populations who have been able to return to their villages and they are still on the offensive to be able to reconquer our territory and push back outside our borders, the terrorists,’ explained Minister Zerbo to the Burkinabè of Niamey, met at the Consulate General of Burkina, according to her communications service

‘At the country level, I know that they hear news, but we wanted to give them this news orally,’ she added, from the same source.

The Consul General, Mohamed Zigané welcomed the visit of Minister Zerbo.

‘We were able to hear firsthand the news of the country. We also took the opportunity to share with the minister our
living conditions and the good relations we have with the brother and friendly country of Niger,’ he said.

The Minister of Digital Transition, Posts and Electronic Communications, went to Niamey since April 18 to represent Burkina Faso, guest country of honor at the first edition of Niger’s National Digital Week.
