Minister of Communication Visits CERAV to Boost Visibility and Morale


Guiriko: The Minister of Communication, Pingdwend© Gilbert Ou©draogo, at the head of a large delegation, paid a visit to the Regional Center for Performing Arts in Africa (CERAV), aiming to encourage staff and enhance the institution’s visibility.



According to Burkina Information Agency, CERAV, which focuses on promoting the performing arts across Africa, regularly hosts interns from major universities throughout the continent, reflecting its growing impact. The minister’s visit was part of an initiative to acknowledge and promote the center’s achievements.



Minister Ou©draogo emphasized that the visit was not just about improving working conditions but also about meeting the expectations placed on CERAV. “Our visit is also to give you the visibility that you still lack. You are doing very valuable work,” he stated.



The minister expressed his satisfaction in learning that the center frequently welcomes students from prominent African academic institutions, indicating the continent’s interest in CERAV’s activities. He also encouraged staff to foster unity around their general delegate, highlighting that unity leads to productivity and strength.



CERAV’s General Delegate, Hermann Pouya, expressed his honor at receiving the minister. He appreciated the encouragement and vowed to maintain momentum. “We will redouble our efforts and begin the last quarter of the year with great enthusiasm,” Pouya remarked.



This visit is part of a series of engagements by the Minister with entities under his supervision to understand their realities and encourage those involved in the communication and culture sector.
