Military Service: Meeting of Central Census Commission Discusses Lists of Next Promotion Conscripts

“In accordance with the High Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, concerning the taking of the necessary measures to integrate the next promotion of conscripts, the Central Commission of census relating to the military service, chaired by the president of a chamber at the Court of Cassation, held, Monday, a meeting to set the criteria for establishing the names of young people, male and female, who will be part of the next promotion of conscripts, from the database of the census,” said the minister in a statement on preparations for the integration of the next promotion of conscripts.

In light of the criteria set by the said Commission, the same source added, lists will be established with the names of the required number of conscripts to form the next promotion according to the ranking and grades necessary for their training, as determined by the competent military authorities, noting that the lists will be sent to the above authorities to initiate procedures related to the convocation of conscripts and their integration into military service on the scheduled date.

The number of young people who have completed the procedures for the census on military service for the year 2022, which ended on February 10, has reached 178,166, including 29,013 women, or more than 16% of all young people surveyed, the statement concluded.
