Talbi Alami, speaking at MAP Forum on Tuesday where he discussed challenges and prospects of parliamentary action in a turbulent national and international context, highlighted the complex and intertwined crises that challenge the roles of different institutions, including the legislative institution.
“There is a conviction among members of the House of Representatives about this major transformation, and a kind of adaptation from which will emerge an improvement in performance and productivity,” he said.
He recalled, in this regard, the opening of the spring session of the House of Representatives in a very complex and specific international context, where several conflicts overlap and interact to produce a major unpredictable crisis, citing the health crisis, the Ukrainian conflict and drought.
