According to preliminary information, local authorities, backed by elements of the Auxiliary Forces, intervened to neutralize the danger emanating from the suspect who entered the balcony of a tourist restaurant in an abnormal condition and threatened the safety of customers, before attacking an element of the Auxiliary Forces who sustained serious injuries which required his transfer to Agadir’s Military Hospital.
This operation led to the arrest of the suspect, who was twice admitted in a psychiatric hospital, while the services of the Royal Gendarmerie opened an investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to determine the circumstances of this incident.
