Loroum/Back to school 2023-2024: High Commissioner Djibril Bassolé encourages education stakeholders

The High Commissioner of the Loroum province, Djibril Bassolé, visited on Monday October 2, 2023 in Ouahigouya, to some sites where internally displaced students are gathered, on the occasion of the 2023-2024 school year to encourage education stakeholders.

Education stakeholders returned to school on Monday October 2, 2023.

In the regrouping sites for internally displaced students (EDI), the high commissioner of the Loroum province, Djibril Bassolé, accompanied by those responsible for primary and secondary education, carried out supervision outings, with a view to receiving finger the realities of teachers and students.

The delegation visited in turn the Naba Tigré college and the Rénovation site, two sites which accommodate internally displaced students from Loroum in Ouahigouya.

Facing teachers, the head of the province sent messages of congratulations for the results obtained over the past year.

Mr. Bassolé encouraged them to persevere in the same dynamic, in order to give the children of Loroum more chance of success.

The High Commissioner wished a peaceful school year and urged them to work.

In the BEPC and the baccalaureate session of 2023, the province recorded a success rate of 41.27% and 34.78% and in the CEP, 95.32%.
