Local elections candidate in the “Souk En Nhas” constituency in the Tunis-Medina delegation Hosni Marii is conducting his campaign under the slogan: “Youth is the solution.”
The candidate undertakes to “make the most of the opportunity provided by the Constitution for citizens to contribute at the local level to achieve development.”
The candidate further promised in his programme to preserve the achievements and democracy of the new Republic and to enshrine the values of citizenship and loyalty to the country.
In terms of social issues, Marii said he “focuses on health, education and the environment and is committed, by virtue of his position, to solve the problems of families and young people in his region, in addition to needy families, the elderly and vulnerable people.”
He further undertook to support national efforts to combat rising prices, monopoly and unemployment, and promises to boost national investment in all fields, mainly handicrafts and agriculture, and to give new impetus to cultural and
youth institutions and cultural centres, as well as public libraries in the region.
Marii will also encourage young people to create, innovate and apply for jobs and protect them from irregular migration, drug addiction and all forms of crime and delinquency.
Marii is the only candidate representing the “Souk En Nhas” constituency, in the Tunis Medina delegation where 12 people are vying for seats on the local council, including 3 candidates with disabilities who will be selected by sortition.
