59 electoral activities have been recorded in Tozeur governorate so far as part of campaigning for the December 24 local elections, said head of legal affairs at the Independent Local Election Authority (IRIE) Rahma Ghrissi.
Four of these activities, which included direct contact with citizens and hanging posters and programmes, had been recorded on Thursday in Nefta, while no other activity had been reported on the same day in the other delegations, Ghrissi told TAP.
“The election campaign in Tozeur is proceeding at a slow pace,” she added, pointing out that the observers had not recorded any election offences during this week, against four offences reported in the first week of the campaign.
