Kaya: The Secretary General of the Kuilse region (SGR), Bernadette Adenyo/Serme, called on Tuesday for the constituted bodies and the population of the region to mobilize around the competitions of the regional week of culture. This event is set to take place on September 6 and 7, 2025, in Kaya.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Kuilse Regional Directorate of Economy and Planning hosted a ceremony for the raising of the national colors, presided over by Bernadette Adenyo/Serme. The event was attended by administrative, religious, and customary authorities, as well as the Combatant Forces and leaders of socio-professional groups.
During the ceremony, Adenyo/Serme announced the regional culture week, Kaya 2025, which will officially launch the regional culture weeks and involve government members. She highlighted that competitions in various cultural disciplines will select the region’s ambassadors for the national culture week in 2026 in Bobo-Dioulasso. She urged for a collective effort with artists to promote local culture.
In her address, Adenyo/Serme also extended good wishes to education stakeholders for the upcoming school year, encouraging continued dedication and perseverance following the previous year’s satisfactory results. Additionally, newly installed department heads were introduced to the audience.
