Kourweogo Health Excellence: Health Actors and Training Rewarded

Kourweogo: The Bouss© health district held the 3rd edition of the Days of Excellence from May 6 to 8, 2025, where several health actors and training courses were celebrated through award ceremonies. This edition aimed to pay tribute to the elders for their sacrifices made in favor of the populations.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event, themed “Contribution of the community world to health,” sought to recognize the contribution of traditional practitioners to the health of populations and to foster collaboration between traditional and alternative medicine and modern medicine. The organizers expressed gratitude to the elders and individuals or legal entities who distinguished themselves in actions that contributed to achieving the objectives.

This edition emphasized the role of traditional practitioners in improving population health.
