Kossi: The Sababuyuma association offers installation kits to women

The Sababuyuma association on Wednesday offered installation kits to women from the communes of Nouna, Bomborokuy and Djibasso in the province of Kossi after their training in processing local products, weaving and dyeing.

The Sababuyuma association of kossi, within the framework of the Tuuma project, trained its members composed of women and young girls from the communes of Nouna, Bomborokuy and Djibasso of the province of Kossi.

They received training in several areas including the processing of local products, weaving and dyeing.

To this end, the association offered Wednesday, May 17, 2023 an installation kit to each municipality with the aim of promoting women’s entrepreneurship.

Each installation kit is made up of dyeing equipment including 5 weaving machines, 5 stoves, 30 protection kits, 30 boots, 30 gloves, 30 goggles, 30 mufflers, 30 overalls and a basin.

The High Commissioner of the province of Kossi, Dô Jacques Abel Sanou in his address congratulated the Sababuyuma association for its contribution to local development.

For her part, the president of the association, Safiatou Traoré presented her structure which was created on February 22, 2001 and has sixty (60) active members in the field of crafts and the processing of local products.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Tuuma project for their support.
