Orodara The Steering Committee of the “On the Paths of Dialogue” project held a meeting on Thursday, October 19, 2023 in Orodara to take stock of the activities of the said project. The initiative is from the NGO Progettomondo and its implementing partners .
The meeting room of the Maison de l’Enfance André Dupont de Orodara (MEADO) served as the setting for this meeting. The main objective is to get the members of the Steering Committee to take ownership of the activities of the said project and to formulate observations and recommendations in order to sustain the project’s actions.
In his introductory statement, the Regional Coordinator of the “On the Paths of Dialogue” Project in the Hauts-Bassins, CAlixte Bakoné, gave a brief reminder of the context of the implementation of the said project, the objective of which is to prevent and fight against violent extremism and promote living together and social cohesion.
He also congratulates all those involved who worked to achieve the expected results.
While welcoming Progettomondo positively for the results achieved, the representative of the deputy director of territorial administration, Drissa Hema, urged the participants to be relays at the level of their respective structures and localities.
The secretary general of the Kénédougou province, Bassama KO, welcomed the efforts of the NGO Progettomondo on the ground in the promotion of peace and social cohesion.
