The High Commissioner of the province of Kénédougou, Saïdou Sakira, chaired this Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the school in sector 6 of Orodara, the raising of colors ceremony in the presence of several education stakeholders .

It is 7 a.m. this Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the school in sector 6. The participants, led by High Commissioner Saïdou Sakira, are facing the flagpole and to the rhythm of the national anthem for the rise of colors .

The Head of the Orodara basic education district, Cyrille K. Somda, took this opportunity to express his satisfaction to the provincial authorities and all stakeholders for the choice of the school in sector 6 to host this ceremony .

According to him, this framework constitutes an extension of teaching activities in moral education.

The first official of the Kénédougou province, Saïdou Sakira, suggested that through this practice, the highest authorities of the country want to once again instill respect for the national colors, the supreme symbol of the nation and the independ
ence of Burkina. Faso, acquired at the price of sacrifice by the fathers of the nation.

Spontaneously, students, through their spokesperson Ben Idriss Traoré, presented the High Commissioner with a financial envelope of 25,700 CFA francs, as a patriotic support fund in order to support the FDS and VDP of the province of Kénédougou.

Addressing the students for their laudable gesture, Mr. Sakira expressed his gratitude and appreciation to them and then reassured them that this donation will be passed on to the right person.
