Orodara, The Association for the Development of Kotoura (ADK) rewarded the best students and teachers of the village on Saturday October 14, 2023 during a ceremony of excellence.
The atmosphere was festive last Saturday in Kotoura on the occasion of School Excellence Day.
During the 2022-2023 academic year, the schools and educational establishments of Kotoura shone with their excellent academic performance despite the difficult security context with a success rate of 100? in the CEP exam, 56.60? in the BEPC and 54.54% at the BAC. This success in the various school exams motivated the ADK to organize this day of excellence.
According to the President of the ADK, Mr. Gustave Konaté, this is the first time that Kotoura schools have achieved 100% success rates in the primary school certificate exam.
The representative of Fondation Orange Burkina, through Jeanne Atagou, welcomed the ADK initiative which aims to recognize the merit of students and teachers who have distinguished themselves through their work during the past academic year.
The best students in CEP, BEPC, BAC and in intermediate classes received prizes in kind and in cash.
