Kaya: A public conference centered on the theme “Communication strategy in times of war, civic-mindedness and the need for engagement” was held in Kaya, focusing on the role of young people in combating terrorism. The event took place at the multipurpose hall and was attended by local populations and internally displaced persons.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the conference was organized by Issa Lagvaré, a mission officer at the Presidency of Faso, and his team. The conference received support from His Majesty Naaba Sigri, King of Boussouma, and was chaired by Colonel-Major Z. Blaise Ouédraogo, Governor of the Centre-North region. It was co-hosted by Adama Amadé Siguiré, a writer and consultant, and Lianhoué Imhotep Bayala, a specialist in African literature. The event attracted administrative, customary, and religious authorities, as well as leaders of civil society organizations and members of the citizen watch of the Centre-North region.
