Ioba: The High Commissioner encourages rapprochement between the FDS and the population

On Monday, May 6, 2024, the High Commissioner of Ioba province, Bernadette Adenyo / Sermé, urged the defense and security forces (FDS) and the populations to more rapprochement and of collaboration, during the ceremony of the raising of the colors in Dano.

The provincial directorate of the Ioba national police hosted the ceremony of the raising of the national colors for the month of May 2024. The high commissioner of the Ioba province, Bernadette Adenyo / Sermé chaired the said ceremony in the presence of the constituted bodies, FDS and volunteers for the defense of the fatherland (VDP).

At the end of the ceremony, the provincial director of the national police (DPPN) of Ioba, Souleymane Zouri, welcomed his hosts. He made a presentation of the Ioba national police services.

According to the DPPN of Ioba, the main mission of all police services in this province is to ensure the tranquility of the populations. The police and all the FDS are delighted to host this ceremony, said the DPPN.

‘This galvanizes u
s further and shows us that we are not alone in the struggle but that the established bodies are with us,’ he added.

The first official of the province, Bernadette Adenyo / Sermé, thanked the DPPN of Ioba and the central police commissioner (CCP) of the city of Dano for the welcome given to the bodies. For her, the FDS should not remain in isolation. They must open up for greater rapprochement, a guarantee of good collaboration with other bodies and the population.

‘In the province of Ioba, it is the DPPN which plays the role of provincial coordinator of the VDP for the eight municipalities,’ continued the high commissioner.

Ms. Adenyo took the opportunity to explain the regulatory position to be adopted by the audience during the raising of the flag.

‘According to the decree of the Grand Chancellor of the Burkinabé Orders of 2018 in its article 6, the assistance must stop with arms outstretched and glued to the body; feet together; looking at the pavilion (flag),’ explained the Ioba High Commissioner.

he renewed her encouragement and congratulations to public and private workers on the occasion of the international commemoration of Labor Day on May 1.
