Ioba/High Commissioner Bernadette Adenyo née Sermé invites the population to highlight the values of peace, social cohesion and respect in our daily relationships

Ouagadougou: The high commissioner of the Ioba province, Bernadette Adenyo née Sermé, invited populations to highlight the values of peace and social cohesion in a message delivered at the start of the new year 2024, Saturday December 30, 2023 in Dano.

It was from her office at the Dano high police station that the first official of the Ioba province, Bernadette Adenyo/Sermé delivered her end-of-year message for 2023 and her New Year wishes for 2024. She expressed her gratitude to God for the gift of life.

While bowing to the memory of all those who have gone before us, she offered her condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased.To all constituted bodies, religious and customary authorities, women and young people, traders, private sector actors, Ms. Adenyo expressed her gratitude for the efforts made throughout the year 2023.

‘We have seen all these actors at work alongside the populations (…..) making their contributions to construction and development in t
he Ioba province,’ she said. The High Commissioner added that work must continue to achieve objectives and results that honor everyone.Furthermore, Bernadette Adenyo thanked all stakeholders in the Ioba province who contributed to the patriotic support fund in 2023.

She invited all the active forces of Ioba to make more efforts. ‘The fight continues and we must maintain vigil and continue to lend a hand until the final victory is seen by all,’ underlined Ms. Adenyo.*The head of the Ioba province invited the entire population to highlight the values of peace, social cohesion, friendship, consideration and respect for others in our daily relationships.

Thus peace and social cohesion will continue to be the basis that guides the individual actions of all*, she explained. She expressed wishes for peace in households, services and communities. ‘I hope that 2024 will be a year in which Burkina Faso will be reborn in this climate of peace and prosperity that all daughters and sons are eagerly awaiting.Happy New Ye
