His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received a cable of thanks from the Chairman of the Shura Council, HE Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, following the success of the 146th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and related meetings hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain, from March 11-15, and held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the theme “Promoting peaceful coexistence and inclusive societies: Fighting intolerance”.
HE Al Saleh commended the efforts made to ensure a successful organisation of the meetings, highlighting it as a new achievement for the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
