The new headquarters of the Tunisia-Africa Business Council (TABC), named “House of Africa”, was inaugurated on Thursday in Tunis on its 8th anniversary and on World Africa Day.

The mandate of the House of Africa will be to support the consolidation of Tunisia’s pan-African values and to create a social, economic and cultural space for exchanges and rapprochement between different communities and for the implementation of several innovative pan-African associative initiatives, according to a press release from TABC.

It will house the first offshore incubator, the Tunisia Africa Business Incubator (TABI), which aims to create a value chain from Tunisia to the rest of the continent. It will be dedicated exclusively to young Tunisian and sub-Saharan entrepreneurs with innovative projects in Africa.

It will also house the TABC headquarters, the African Centre for Training and Expertise (ACTE) and The Voice of Africa (VOA) web radio, the first pan-African web radio station based in Tunisia, targeting the African diaspora in Tunisia and the voice of the sub-Saharan community in Tunisia.

TABC also launched the Africa CEO Platform (ACP). This platform will allow TABC members to schedule online bilateral (BtoB) meetings with business leaders across the continent and internationally.

It will also serve as a tool for organising various advisory events (missions, trade fairs, forums, seminars, etc.).
