In this painful circumstance, HM the King expresses to the members of the family of the deceased and to their relatives, to the great national artistic family of the late artist and to all his friends and admirers, His deep condolences and sincere feelings of compassion, following the loss of one of the pioneers of the Moroccan song, who has developed the national musical repertoire, for decades, by eternal songs, so much appreciated by the lovers of authentic Moroccan music.
The Sovereign emphasizes, in this message, that the late Fathallah Lamghari has ensured the enrichment of the national artistic heritage by exceptional masterpieces marked by authenticity and sincere patriotism.
HM the King says he shared the feelings of the family of the deceased following this cruel loss, remembering, with esteem, the human qualities of the late artist, his patriotism and his unwavering attachment to the constant values and sacredness of the Nation, values that are reflected in the lyrics of the patriotic, unifying and eternal song “Nidaa El Hassan” that he wrote.
The Sovereign implores God to reward the deceased amply for the services rendered to art and to his country and to grant his relatives patience and comfort.
