Health Minister Ali Mrabet, Friday, made a visit to the Company of Pharmaceutical Industries of Tunisia (SIFAT) with Algerian Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production Ali Aoun.
During a working session held at SIFAT, Mrabet stressed the need to establish a strategic partnership with Algeria in the field of pharmaceutical industries so as to promote the production of new drugs with high added value, exchange experiences between the two countries in the pharmaceutical industry as well as increase investments and exports.
A brief presentation was made of the SIFAT company, particularly with regard to the structuring of pharmaceutical systems, the management methods in the production units, the mechanisms adopted to improve production and its contribution to meet national needs and the marketing of Tunisian medicines at the regional and local levels.
The Algerian Minister took note of the equipment and technologies used in the production units, welcoming the efforts made by Tunisian executives to pr
omote this key sector.
