Esperance de Tunis won the Handball Elite Championship after defeating Club Africain 35-27, at the final of Final four played Saturday in Monastir. This is the 35th championship trophy bagged by Esperance, the club with more titles won in Tunisia. CS Sakiet Ezzit finished third at the final 4, after defeating Etoile du Sahel (29-27), in a placement match played Friday in Monastir. Esperance de Tunis knocked out Etoile du Sahel 28-26 and holders Club Africain eliminated CS Sakiet Ezzit (22-21).
