The writer, Tégawendé Diri Ramsès Pakodtogo dedicated his first literary work on April 29, 2023 in Fada N’Gourma, in the eastern region instituted “Les épines du miel”.

“Les thorns du miel” is the name of the first novel by Tégawendé Diri Ramsès Pakodtogo, published by Editions la République.

This novel, which is subdivided into five (05) chapters, talks about incivility in the school environment, gender-based violence (GBV) and professional conscience.

According to the presenter of the work, the provincial director in charge of post-primary and secondary education in Gourma, who is also a doctoral student in African literature, Francois Xavier Ouédraogo, the main character, Raspak comes from a poor family who managed to his studies.

According to him, on the other hand, Zibéogo Zalame, one of the characters in the novel stood out for his incivility and ended up in prison after raping a minor.

Mr. Ouédraogo added a character named Mamane to the work. He fell under the spell of one of his teachers, who unfortunately lost her life when she wanted to have an abortion.

A student in terminal A4 at Diablo Lompo high school, Adamou Kapioko appreciated this literary work at its fair value, because according to him, the author tackled topical subjects that appeal to young people.

The writer, Pakodtogo Tégawendé Diri Ramsès has indicated that his first novel will make it possible to overcome certain difficulties in society.

Mr. Pakodtogo is a clerk and prosecutor’s secretary in service at the Fada N’Gourma courthouse where he has worked for three years. He holds a baccalaureate series A4.
