Boulgou: The prestigious Renewal Cup, a flagship competition of the Nakambe regional league, was launched at the Garango departmental high school. The event was chaired by the governor of the region and attended by administrative, military, customary, and religious authorities of the commune.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the President of the special delegation of the commune of Garango, Thimote Zombre, expressed gratitude to the authorities for their presence and to the developers for selecting the commune for this event. He encouraged athletes to use football as a means to promote social cohesion and fraternity within the community.
The opening match saw Renaissance FC face off against Diogo FC, concluding in a 0-0 draw. The game highlighted promising technical skills that suggest an exciting competition ahead. Burkinabe international Ibrahim Tall attended the event, showing his support for the league and the growth of Burkinabe football.
