Five Nations Athletics Championships: Burkina Faso Finishes 1st with 56 Medals


Burkina Faso: Burkina Faso’s athletics standards won the athletics championships on Saturday, collecting 56 medals, including 25 gold, 17 silver, and 14 bronze, according to the Burkinabe Athletics Federation.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Burkina Faso outclassed the competition ahead of Côte d’Ivoire, which secured 55 medals comprising 15 gold, 20 silver, and 20 bronze. Benin followed in third place with a total of 30 medals, including 7 gold, 10 silver, and 13 bronze.

In fourth place was Togo, which ranked with 12 medals, including 4 gold, 5 silver, and 3 bronze. Ghana completed the rankings with 9 medals, comprising 3 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze.
