Fight against terrorism in the East: the Head of State urges the military hierarchy to stay the course

The President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE discussed, this early Friday evening, with the heads of the various components of the Defense and Security Forces operating in the Eastern region.

The discussions focused on the commitment of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) in the face of the still worrying security situation in the region.

The President of the Transition has therefore declined new guidelines for better coordination of interventions so that the efforts of the various fighting forces can better contribute to securing the region and hence the entire country.

The Head of State also hailed and encouraged the hierarchy of the fighting forces for the convincing results already achieved in the field of the fight against the terrorist Hydra.

He gave instructions to the heads of the various components of the Defense and Security Forces, to maintain the course in the commitment and determination for the reconquest of the national territory.
