Fight against terrorism: Governor Yvette Nacoulma/Sanou says she is satisfied with the calm in the Center-South

Ouagadougou: The governor of the South Center region, Massadalo Yvette Nacoulma/Sanou, expressed her satisfaction with the results achieved on the ground in the fight against insecurity in her region, at the end of an audience granted by President Ibrahim Traoré to the administrative authorities of the South Center.

The President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traoré granted an audience, yesterday Saturday, to the administrative authorities of the Center-South region who presented to him the security situation prevailing in the region.

Governor Massadalo Yvette Nacoulma/Sanou, at the head of the delegation, said she was satisfied ‘with the results achieved and the calm, which allows the populations of the Center-South to calmly go about their activities’.

Concerns related to the development of the region, and constraints linked to the conduct of the missions of the heads of administrative districts were submitted to Captain Ibrahim Traoré. ‘We are leaving this audience satisfied, motivat
ed and still committed to achieving the objectives of the Transition,’ underlined Massadalo Yvette Nacoulma/Sanou.

The governor of the South-Central region also indicated that the grievances submitted to the Head of State last year during his stay in the Region have seen progress. Among the grievances met, she cited the mobility of heads of administrative districts, the strengthening of the operational capacities of the defense and security forces, and the opening of certain security posts with the effect of strengthening security in the Region.

She also mentioned the construction of a certain number of infrastructures including the Manga regional hospital center, the renovation of the Manga multipurpose room, the completion of the study for the asphalting of national road No. 29 (RN29).
