A son from the commune of Solenzo made a donation on Saturday of 20 Sanili motorcycles and a sum of 500,000 FCFA to the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) of Solenzo.
The Chief of Solenzo canton, representing the donor, said in his speech: ‘It is a son of the municipality of Solenzo, his family and his friends who paid for these motorcycles for the VDP. They also gave 500,000 F for fuel but the donor refuses to be named.’
The Secretary General of the Banwa province, Abdoul Kader Kongzabré, who received this donation for the VDP, said he was very proud and invited all the daughters and sons of the province to do the same in all the communes of the Banwa.
The association of Solenzo retirees also took advantage of this ceremony to present to the Secretary General of the Banwa province the sum of 50,000 FCFA in support of the peace effort.
