Faso Mebo: Student Donates Cement for National Construction on 9th Birthday

Ouagadougou: A young student, Abdoul Jalil Ouattara, marked his 9th birthday with a generous contribution to the Faso Mebo initiative, donating 9 bags of cement and a shovel. This act was part of his birthday celebration held on September 26, as he aimed to support the ongoing construction efforts in his country.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Abdoul Jalil, who is in the CE2 class, was accompanied by his family to the Faso Mebo site to officially hand over his donation. His mother, Bintou Kabore, shared that this gift was a reflection of her son’s long-held aspiration to contribute to the national development efforts.

Jalil’s desire to support the national cause was evident as he often expressed his intentions to dedicate his savings to aid Captain Ibrahim Traore. Ms. Kabore revealed that her son’s enthusiasm led her to suggest making the contribution through the Faso Mebo initiative, which is aligned with the presidential efforts.

Although Jalil hoped to meet Captain Ibrahim Traore, his mother explained the challenges due to the Captain’s busy schedule. Consequently, they decided to proceed with delivering his contribution to the initiative.
