Ouagadougou: Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean-Emmanuel Ouedraogo conveyed this Sunday to campers at the Faso Mebo holiday camp the message from His Excellency the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, inviting them to be exemplary citizens.
According to Burkina Information Agency, in his speech at the closing ceremony, the Head of Government reminded the children that discipline, hard work, and respect must now guide their daily lives, under the watchful eye of their parents. He also encouraged them to share the knowledge acquired during the camp with their peers at home, at school, and in their surroundings.
“You are doubly lucky: to have been born in Burkina Faso, a rich country, and to be living in an era where a new wind is blowing. If someone tells you that your country is poor, tell them the opposite,” he told the campers, before wishing them a good return to school and urging them to be good examples wherever they are.
