13 horses were selected in the Foal and “Arrowa or local” categories on Sunday evening in Ouagadougou to take part in the Grand Prix of the Equestrian Sports Center League, noted a journalist from the AIB.
It is a first phase of selection of 13 horses including 6 and 7 respectively in the Foal and “Arrowa or local” categories which will run for the Grand Prix of the central league.
“We organize our grand prix and we proceed by selection in our League. We have three selections and this is the first selection in the Poulin, local categories”, explained the treasurer of the League of the Center for Equestrian Sports (LCSE), Ali Porgo.
According to him “7 foals started the race of the first selection and 6 were selected for 7 places. The last one finished his race on the move, therefore disqualified”.
For the local category, 7 horses were selected out of the 10 that took part.
In addition, the Foal category includes horses less than a year old and the “Arrowa or local” category is those more than a year old.
“The Métis, heel categories, as there are not many of them, they participate directly in the Center league grand prix,” he added.
Note that at the end of the three selections, twenty (20) horses will be selected in each category to compete for the grand prize of the Center League of the Center for Equestrian Sports.
