Education: Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, teacher for a morning at School ‘B’ in Péni

Bobo-Dioulasso: Departing for Banfora, the President of the Transition, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE made an unexpected stop, Tuesday morning, at the school complex A, B and D in the commune of Péni. This stopover was an opportunity for the President of the Transition to exchange and communicate with the teachers and children of this school complex, very surprised and truly happy with this historic moment which will undoubtedly remain engraved in their memory.

Welcomed by the enthusiastic students and teaching staff, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE put himself in the shoes of a teacher in the CP1 class of School ‘B’ in Péni.

On the program, a course on the values of citizenship, solidarity and a call to work and respect for parents. ‘Remain disciplined, wise and be good citizens,’ advised the Head of State. He also invited the students to show solidarity and remain true patriots.

By singing in chorus the national anthem, the Ditanyè, the anthem of victory with the President of the Transition, the students
of the CP1 class are already demonstrating their predisposition to defend the Nation and to grow as good citizens respectful of the values of our country.

After the students, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE spoke with the teaching staff. For the President of the Transition, this visit to the Péni public primary school is an opportunity to get even closer to education stakeholders to better understand realities.

‘The Nation is counting on you,’ said the Head of State who also invited them to instill civic values in children.

‘Children spend more time with you. It is therefore up to you to instill in them a certain number of values,’ argued Captain Ibrahim TRAORE.

He took the opportunity to express his thanks and encouragement to teachers for the work done on a daily basis for the training and education of Burkinabè children.
