Tunis: Twenty-one documentary films produced over the past two years, including short, medium and feature films from 12 countries (Tunisia, Jordan, Greece, France, Germany, Lebanon, Morocco, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Croatia and Palestine) have been selected for the 7th Mediterranean Documentary Film Festival in Tunisia – DocuMed, scheduled for April 16-19 in Tunis, Bizerte and Djerba.
DocuMed, organised annually by the Documentary Tunisian Cinema Association, offers a panorama of documentary production in Mediterranean countries.
It aims to enhance the visibility and distribution of documentary films in Tunisia and to encourage interaction between professionals, creators and audiences in a spirit of openness to anthropological, cultural and social diversity.
