During a routine control of passengers, customs officials have subjected a car registered abroad driven by a Moroccan resident in Spain to a thorough inspection that allowed to find this amount, which was hidden in the glove box, said a customs source.
The person concerned, who was trying to introduce this sum on the national territory without having an authorization from the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxation (ADII), told the customs that he has no goods or money to declare, said the same source.
