Court of Auditors President Receives Insignia of Knight of the Legion of Honour

Rabat – The first President of the Court of Auditors, Mrs. Zineb El Adaoui, was decorated, on Thursday evening, with the Insignia of Knight of the Legion of Honour, said the French embassy in Rabat in a release.

This honorary distinction was awarded to Ms. Zineb El Adaoui by the French ambassador to Morocco, Hélène Le Gal, the source added.

Holder of a Diploma of Higher Studies in Economics, Ms. Zineb El Adaoui began her career in 1984 as a judge at the Court of Auditors, before occupying, in 2004, the post of President of the Regional Court of Auditors of Rabat.

She was appointed member of the regionalization advisory commission in 2010, of the National Human Rights Council in 2011 and of the High Authority for National Dialogue on Justice Reform in 2012.

On January 20, 2014, His Majesty King Mohammed VI appointed Ms. Zineb El Adaoui, Wali of the Gharb Chrarda-Béni Hssen Region and Governor of the province of Kenitra.

The confidence of His Majesty the King was renewed in the person of Mrs. EL Adaoui, by appointing her, on October 13, 2015, Wali of the Souss-Massa Region and Governor of the prefecture of Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, then Wali, Inspector General of Territorial Administration from June 25, 2017.

On March 22, 2021, Ms. Zineb El Adaoui was appointed by HM King Mohammed VI to the post of First President of the Court of Auditors.
