Comoe: The Immersed at Work for a Day of Sanitation


Ouagadougou: The new high school graduates who took part in the patriotic immersion in Niangoloko organized a clean-up day on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in collaboration with the municipal police. This initiative led to the cleaning of the town hall square and its surroundings, as well as the central market and its surroundings.



According to Burkina Information Agency, this activity aimed to demonstrate their civic commitment and their desire to contribute to improving the community’s living environment.



Throughout the morning, the participants swept, collected rubbish, and cleaned public spaces, drawing admiration from local residents. Witnesses among the population welcomed this mobilization, emphasizing that it already reflects the positive effect of compulsory patriotic immersion on young people.



“We are seeing young people who are committed, disciplined and motivated for the common cause,” they said, while thanking the authorities for this initiative which transforms the new high school graduates into local development actors.
