Elements of the paratrooper commando group offered a preview show of the opening ceremony of the National Culture Week, expected tomorrow April 27 at the Sangoulé Lamizana stadium in Bobo Dioulasso.
‘The National Armed Forces support culture during the National Culture Week’, soberly indicated the General Staff of the Armies of Burkina.
The Minister in charge of Culture and Arts, Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, assured two weeks ago that the opening show would be ‘beautiful’.
Some 1,600 actors are expected at this 2024 edition which opens from April 27 to May 4 under the theme: ‘Culture, historical memory and patriotic surge for a new Burkina.’
