Coach Brama Traoré unveils a list of 23 Stallions without Bertrand Traoré and Issoufou Dayo to play Egypt and Sierra Leone


Ouagadougou: The coach of the Stallions of Burkina Faso Brama Traoré unveiled Monday in Ouagadougou during a press conference, a list of 23 players without Bertrand Traoré and Issoufou Dayo, to play the 3rd and 4th day of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, we noted.

Brama Traoré justified the absence of these two players (Bertrand Traoré and Issoufou Dayo) by the sporting choice. ‘It’s the timing. I follow these two players with great interest. Many other players were not called up just like these two players.’

Egypt leads group A with 6 points (+8) followed by Burkina Faso (4 points +4), Guinea (4 points +1), Sierra Leone (1 point – 2), Ethiopia (1 point – 3) and Djibouti (0 point – 7).
