The government on Thursday created a center for the promotion of poultry farming and the multiplication of high-performance animals (CPAMAP), resulting from the merger of two structures, with a view to improving the genetic potential of farm animals and the development of poultry farming and to solve the problems associated with the management of efficient animal improvement centers, employing personnel not recognized in rhymes.

The government ‘has decided to create a Center for the promotion of poultry farming and the multiplication of high-performance animals (CPAMAP)’, indicates the report of the Council of Ministers this Thursday.

According to the said report, the center for the promotion of poultry farming and the multiplication of high-performance animals (CPAMAP) results from the merger of the center for the promotion of agriculture and the center for the multiplication of high-performance animals.

The merger will allow the human, logistical and financial pooling of the two structures. It will also
make it possible to resolve the problems linked to the management of high-performance animal improvement centers which employed staff who were not recognized in the rhymes, indicates the minister in charge of livestock Amadou Dicko.

According to the minister, CPAMAP’s mission is to improve the genetic potential of farm animals and the development of poultry farming at the national level.
