Burkina/Peace effort: A former CEO of LONAB offers 2 tons of food and an envelope of 100,000 FCFA to COPROSUR

The Honorable Zembendé Deputy Théodore Sawadogo former Director General of the National Lottery of Burkina (DG / LONAB) handed over on May 25, 2023 to the Provincial Council for Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation ( COPROSUR) of Namentenga in the Center-North region, 2 tons of maize and an envelope of 100,000 FCFA, in Boulsa.

Two tons of maize and an envelope of 100,000 FCFA, such is the support that the Honorable Zembendé Théodore Sawadogo, ex-DG/LONAB, has offered to COPROSUR, as a contribution to face its actions to secure the province and also to coping with the large number of internally displaced persons.

“I am sensitive to the suffering of my parents, who were harshly confronted by the terrorist hydra. This is why I come with this modest contribution to express my support for them,” he said.

The President of the Provincial Council for Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation (COPROSUR), Adama Conseiga, thanked the donor and reassured him of the good use of the donation. Then, in turn, he gave the donation to the representative of the provincial director in charge of humanitarian action.
