Ouagadougou: The Burkina Faso Cadet Stallions returned to the field of the Moulay Rachid Sports Complex in Bouznika (Casablanca) on Wednesday to refresh after the defeat the day before against the Aiglonnets of Mali, the AIB noted on site in the Cherifian kingdom.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Coach Oscar Barro and his prot©g©s, the Cadet Stallions, have regained the energy they need to prepare for the U17 AFCON classification match being played in Morocco. The players who played in yesterday’s semifinal against Mali were treated to light jogs and stretches to relax.
Those who didn’t play did more advanced exercises with workshops set up to hone their reflexes. All these activities took nearly an hour before the players returned to their base.
The Cadet Stallions will face the Ivory Coast Elephants for the U17 AFCON classification match on Friday, April 18th. This is a team that the Burkinabe cadets had already beaten in the final of the UFOA-B qualifying tournament in Accra, Ghana.
The host country, Morocco, will play the grand final against Mali on Saturday, April 19th. The U17 CAN Morocco 2025 will be played from March 30 to April 19.
