Burkina: an attempted car bomb attack foiled in the North

The Burkinabè army foiled a car bomb attack last night which probably targeted Arbinda in the north of the country, the AIB learned from security sources.

Burkinabè intelligence services helped stop a large-scale attack on the night of May 2-3, 2023, which probably targeted Arbinda in the province of Soum, in the north of the country.

According to our sources, they are sending a band of terrorists from Niger to the level of the Belehede-Arbinda axis.

The aerial vectors will then fire on the targets, including two pickup vehicles packed with explosives, consuming the enemies in the process.

The army also carried out operations in other localities which made it possible to neutralize several dozen terrorists and recover equipment.

The friendly Forces invite the lost to leave the ranks of the criminals, if they want to preserve their lives.
