Burkina: A team of firefighters calls on the population to be careful during the end-of-year holidays

Ouagadougou: A team from the National Fire Brigade (BNSP) called on Saturday in Ouagadougou the population to be careful, vigilant and to wear helmets in traffic to save lives during the end-of-year celebrations. ‘year.

‘We invite the population to exercise caution and vigilance. You have to go slowly during these end-of-year holidays because life is precious. We also advise them on wearing helmets, which helps save lives. We can buy a helmet, but we cannot buy life,’ invited one of the mobile fire brigade teams deployed to strategic locations in the city of Ouagadougou.

‘There is no longer room in hospitals to receive accident victims when we take them there for treatment,’ lamented the firefighters. They had just completed three interventions at the time we spoke.

For them, they had to negotiate in certain places to accept patients due to the lack of space in hospitals.

n place to ensure the peace of the population during the end-of-year celebrations.

An important system, including in particular the gendarmerie, the national police, the firefighters and the municipal police, was put in place for the end of year celebrations.

According to security sources, this system is the same in Ouagadougou as well as in the different cities of the country.
