Boulsa: Forty learners specializing in dyeing, weaving, and making wire mesh have been equipped with installation kits, marking the culmination of their year-long vocational training. The ceremony, held on October 24, 2025, was chaired by High Commissioner Adama Conseiga. He acknowledged the collective efforts of partners involved, while extending his congratulations to the beneficiaries and their trainers.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Nood© Noot© Association (A2N) played a pivotal role in this initiative through its substantial investments. Promoters Sidnooma Ouim©nga and Yacouba Band© expressed their gratitude towards A2N, committing to act as influential figures within their communities. The distribution saw fifteen boys receiving kits for wire netting, while twenty-five girls were provided with sets for dyeing and weaving.
Niki¨ma Maxime, head of operations and representative of the executive director of A2N, highlighted that the vocational training project is supported by the Danish Refugee Council and is being executed in the municipalities of Boulsa and Yalgo. The project is designed to enhance the entrepreneurial capabilities of young people in the region. Previously, the project distributed kits to apprentices specializing in hydraulic works maintenance.
On behalf of the recipients, Sidnooma Ouim©nga and Yacouba Band© expressed their appreciation to their mentors and A2N, pledging to inspire partners and drive enthusiasm for their craft. The High Commissioner applauded A2N’s efforts, aligning them with the directives of His Excellency Captain Ibrahim Traor© to boost local expertise. He encouraged the beneficiaries to establish a cooperative society to enhance their business market presence.
