Ouagadougou: The Bogodogo Islamic Holiday Camp marked its 20th edition this year by actively participating in the Faso Mªbo presidential initiative. This Thursday, the 123 settlers and 35 supervisors of the colony made a special outing to immerse themselves in the activities of Faso Mªbo.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Abdoulaye Nyampa, the camp’s general director, explained that their presence was not only about making a donation but also about educating the children on the workings of the Faso Mªbo initiative and how they can contribute to nation-building. The camp, being an Islamic structure, commenced their involvement with invocations and blessings for the success of the initiative, followed by a tangible donation of 5 bags of cement. Additionally, the participants provided assistance with fieldwork.
Mr. Nyampa highlighted that this effort reflects the young settlers’ desire to partake in civic actions, enhancing their learning experience and sense of responsibility towards the community.
