Teachers in the Gnagna province celebrated World Teachers’ Day on Thursday, October 5, 2023 in Bogandé, under the sign of resilience.

The celebration of World Teacher’s Day mobilized in addition to teaching staff, numerous participants including the various bodies of the Bogandé Defense and Security Forces (FDS).

It was marked by a raising of national colors on the coordination of the FDS, a symbolic planting of trees, an aerobics session and a public conference.

It was the town of Bogandé, capital of the province of Gnagna, which hosted the activities of the day dedicated to the teacher.

The organizers took advantage of the day to present a theme on the human resources and career management process at the Ministry of National Education, in the context of Law 081.

For the speaker, Flavien Yougbaré, head of the Bogandé Basic Education District (CEB), sustainable development is only truly initiated when the agents of an institution or a country feel happy and motivated.

“This promotes work that ensures the state achieves development,” he said.

To avoid being a victim in his career, the communicator advised public service agents to read and question the texts more.

The provincial director of preschool, primary and non-formal education of Gnagna, Salam Ouédraogo expressed the recognition of the administrative authorities to the teaching staff for the multiple and loyal services rendered to the nation.

Mr. Ouédraogo wished them good health, prosperity and peace.

It is on notes of great satisfaction that the activities of the celebration of Teacher’s Day came to an end.
