Bogandé/APEC Focal Point: Residents of Bogandé made aware of popular shareholding

Bogandé: The Agency for the Promotion of Community Entrepreneurship through its focal point in Gnagna hosted, Saturday May 4, 2024 in Bogandé, an awareness session on popular shareholding for the benefit of populations of the said locality. The activity was chaired by the 2nd vice president of the special municipal delegation of Bogandé, Oumarou Tindano.

“This awareness session aims to put all stakeholders at the same level of information in order to further mobilize them for community savings with the aim of financing businesses on the basis of popular shareholding” declared the focal point of the APEC/Gnagna, Yenubua Lankoandé. The Bogandé team benefited from the support of a delegation from Fada for the occasion.

The establishment of the Agency for the Promotion of Community Entrepreneurship (APEC) pursues two major objectives. One is to create more than 1 million direct jobs and the other is to achieve food self-sufficiency in Burkina Faso. A program that is close to the heart of the President of Faso,
Captain Ibrahim Traoré.

According to awareness-raisers, popular shareholding offers Burkinabè from inside and outside the country the possibility of investing in national projects and companies, thus allowing them to benefit from financial benefits in the form of dividends. It consists of making the Burkinabé people the owners of capital and work.

The minimum share is 10,000 F CFA plus membership fees of 5,000 F CFA which entitles you to a membership book. To facilitate subscriptions, municipal focal points have been set up. While welcoming the strong mobilization of the populations, the 2nd vice president Oumarou Tindano invited everyone to be relays in their respective communities for a massive subscription.

On occasion, the first subscribers received their membership books.
