The communal coordination of the women of Zimtanga headed by the second vice-president Mrs. Fatimata Ouédraogo responded favorably to the appeal of Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, President of the Transition for the peace effort .
Indeed, the women of the commune made a deposit of 500,000 FCFA to the Public Treasury on the account allocated for this purpose, on May 09, 2023.
This sum was mobilized by all the women of Zimtanga to support the authorities in the fight against terrorism.
On the occasion, they wanted all women’s organizations to support the Transition in their own way so that it could restore security in the country.
Fatimata Ouédraogo gave the receipt to the Zimtanga PDS to Fatou Zalvet, wife Grimanio (right).
As a reminder, the town of Zimtanga, located north of Kongoussi is famous for vegetable production in Bam, particularly green beans.
But since 2019, the town has been emptied of its inhabitants for security reasons
