Rabat – The Mufti of Al-Quds and Palestine, Imam of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Mohamed Hussein, has hailed the sustained action of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, the executive arm of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God preserve Him.
During a meeting with managing director of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, the Mufti of Al-Quds and Palestine praised the efforts made by the Kingdom, King, government and people, in support of the Palestinian people, highlighting the close ties uniting the Moroccan and Palestinian peoples, particularly in the city of Al-Quds, said a statement by the Agency.
At the meeting, which took place recently in Rabat, Sheikh Mohamed Hussein was briefed on the large-scale humanitarian operation deployed by Morocco pursuant to the Very High Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI for the benefit of the Palestinian populations of Gaza and the holy city of Al Quds, during the month of Ramadan, the same source added.

asion, Cherkaoui outlined the Agency’s action plan for 2024, as well as its achievements and the services it offers to the Palestinian people.
For his part, the Mufti of Al Quds and Palestine informed Cherkaoui “of the difficult conditions experienced by the Palestinian people, and of the violations and other Israeli actions against the holy places in Palestine, notably the blessed Mosque of Al Aqsa”.
